HIS PLAN

 

Good morning to you!
This has been a crazy month. It seems as though I have had more to do than usual. But the last few months have been the same. I haven't done this blog as often as I wanted to. There has just not been enough hours in the day.

A while back I posted that I wasn't going to post every day like I have mostly before October of this year. I have posted 707 posts all being from my heart. I just couldn't do it daily anymore. Maybe some day I can get back to that but for now I can't feel guilty for not posting every day. I will say that I thought that when you got to a certain age your life started slowing down. Well, it hasn't yet. It has just got busier.

But I know that God has a plan and I love Him with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and He alone will see me through until my days are over here on earth. I hope not very soon. But only He knows! I don't need to know. I trust Him and as of now He has work here for me to do. Therefore I must do it.

1 Peter 4:10 

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace:

Acts 20:35

In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” 

So, in this season of giving we must remember why we are here and Who we are here for. We are not here for ourselves. We are here for others. We must help others any way that we can and with our heart, not because we feel we should.

And I know that God's plan for my life is happening right now. Maybe I am not doing a very good job of that. Maybe I am too busy doing the things of the world and not the things of God. But whatever I am doing, I know that I am doing the best I can. I also know that I can always do better, so that is what I will do.

When I worship my Jesus I will do it in Spirit and truth. When I pray I will do it without ceasing. When I read His Word then I need to do what it says. When I tell others about Jesus I need to do it with boldness. And in everything that I do, I want God to be glorified, honored, and praised.

Matthew 5:16

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
