Good morning! The rain has stopped. Praise the Lord that we didn't have any severe storms here. Unfortunately, there w ere severe storms in other places. Let's pray for the people and areas that were affected in GA.  Remember that even though we are not perfect, we can still serve Jesus, and He loves us so much. He loves us just the way we are. Jesus is not waiting for us to be perfect or to clean up our act. Of course, we need to try to please Him and clean ourselves up but He doesn't expect us to be perfect before He loves us. Perfection is not a plan for our lives here on earth. As I said, He loves us just the way we are, but He loves us too much to leave us that way.   Read this scripture!!   Good morning to you on this blustery day! We are supposed to get severe storms today. The warm front (it is 70* at 8 AM here in winter) is supposed to meet the cold front and kaboom: severe storms. I am praying that it won't be severe. Lots of rain is fine. We have had enough tornadoes in our area and Lord, please protect all of us and let any severe weather dissipate. We have had a pet training containment system (wireless electric fence) for our dog for probably 6-8 years and never even took it out of the box. Well, yesterday we finally did and set it up and trained our dog for about an hour. We are supposed to train every day for 30 days. In the end, I certainly won't go outside the fence! Our dog won't stay in the yard and brings things home from the neighbors houses. She doesn't do much wrong. She doesn't even chew the items just brings them home. Good morning to you! Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Ephesians 1:3 If you get a chance, read all the way through Ephesians 1:3-14. God has blessed us extraordinarily. I think that I spelled that right. Anyway, God has blessed us so much. He has a plan for our lives. He is preparing heaven for us. His one and only Son, died on the cross to get rid of our sin, so that we do not have to suffer eternally for our sin. Christ did that for us. If you have never watched The Passion of the Christ movie. You need to. It is very graphic and I have heard that as graphic as it is, it is still not as heinous as the real crucifixion was. But it really hits home about what Jesus did for us. It is very moving. The movie is a depiction of the last twelve hours in the life of Jesus of Nazareth, on the day of his crucifixion in Jerusalem. It was made by Mel Gibson in 2004. It

Good morning to you this great Sabbath morning! I pray you had a good night. I love M atcha green tea but the caffeine is too much for my body to handle. I f I have it, I must d r ink it early in the morning and I was drinking it at 3:30 in the afternoon. But I really didn't drink all that much. I guess I did. Ugh!! But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Good morning this fine Saturday morning! The sun isn't shining yet but I can't wait until it does. It seems like yesterday was just an icy blur. Although, I don't think is got as icy as it was supposed to. My porch was icy and I know my precious friend's was. She slipped on her porch and down the stairs and her whole body aches. Praise God it wasn't worse! Our comfort zone! We have been talking about that a bit in both of my Bible Studies. What is out of our comfort zone? Praying out loud, going on a mission trip, telling someone about what Jesus has done for us, going to a new job, taking care of children. Whatever your comfort zone is, probably being comfortable at home in your own space, or a job you have had forever, and then going out of it. What do we feel God calling us to do that scares us or might make us uncomfortable? God calls us to get ou t of our comfort zone because then we can totally depend on Him.   Good morning on this freezy day! We are supposed to be having an ice storm of sorts. The temperature is supposed to drop with the rain falling and wallah! Ice! Hopefully the roads are warm enough and salted enough that it won't freeze the roads. I do need to go out today and with God's favor I will be able to.  You know that God is good all the time. I have talked about that quite a lot. That is because it is so true. But God just might be showing His favor upon us. Let's see what scripture says. “But now entreat God’s favor, That  He may be gracious to us..." First of all, this scripture is from the Old Test a m ent . Mercy is: 1. Compassionate treatment, especially of those under one's power; clemency. 2. A disposition to be kind and forgiving: a heart full of mercy. 3. Something for which to be thankful; a blessing: It was a mercy that no one was hurt. 4. Alleviation of distress; relief: Taking in the refugees was an act of mercy        O Lord, help us have mercy on others as God has mercy on us. How forgiving are we? I never thought of mercy as compassionate treatment but of forgiveness. But in all reality forgiveness is compassionate treatment. Anyway, God has mercy on us everyday. Good morning to you! I am ready for the beach. How about you? Even though the winter hasn't been bad and I like it, I am ready for the sun, sand and sea. And I have a long time to wait, October, unless we go to our daughter and son-in-law's in Florida before then. But I have something great to look forward to.  I love the beach. I was born in Santa Monica, CA and lived at the farthest 3 hours from the beach all my years in CA except for 14 when I was 4-5 hours away. And then 21 years since living in TN where we are 7 hours away. But when I still lived with my parents the farthest we lived was 20 miles away and the closest was 1 mile away. So, all my life the beach has been special to me. You can really see and feel God's love and closeness there in His creation.  The ocean covers 72 % of the earths surface. And I will bet there is a very high percentage of art work done of the ocean. I guess maybe there is also a high percentage of people who have a passion
