Good morning to you on this fine day! Another day that the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it! I pray that you had a blessed night. It is still night for me. It is 5 AM. I am doing some work for a ministry today and we are starting early. I am nervous because I haven't done this before but also excited because of the lives it can change. God will be with us all. And I can (we can) count on Him! My husband who is still suffering with his back, has to drive almost an hour away this morning in order to take some supplies to his guys. Poor guy! He hurts so bad. Actually, he doesn't hurt much if he doesn't move. The doctor said that he should feel better in 3 weeks but won't be all better for about 6 weeks. We are depending on God for a quicker recovery and to supply all our needs. For His mercy endures forever! I have been talking a lot about worshiping God lately I guess because I love to worship God.   Good morning on this wonderful rainy day! It is the kind of day when you just want to curl up and read a book. But I am going somewhere today. As much as I want to go, I like the idea of staying home better. I did get some tomatoes and bell peppers planted last evening but I didn't get the flowers done. Maybe it will stop raining later and the ground will be nice and gooey and soft. There is nothing worse than trying to dig a hole in dirt cement. Ugh! I just looked. It is supposed to rain all day and the temperature should reach 60-64*. Oh, my! Not good for planting flowers. Well, while I am home I will take care of my husband and my house instead. I am in the middle of so many projects my house looks like a bomb went off. I will start a project and then start another and another and not complete anything. I need to finish them before I start another. There is just so much going on in my life right now, not bad stuff, just too much that I need to do. And not enough hou

Good morning! Hope you had a great day yesterday. It was a gorgeous day. I wish I had had time to work outside. Maybe I can to day . I have flowers to plant, as well as to add more seeds and seedling s to my garden. I love flowers. It is amazing the beauty to behold in flowers. I also love to take pictures of flowers and plants, well, most anything. I actually don't take as many pictures as I used to. I need to get back in the habit. God has a picture of us and we have a picture of Him. I hope and pray that your picture of God is one of beauty and majesty and love and a hope and a future. He is with us always and He cares for us. He is kind, loving and gentle, the nicest person in the universe. And much more. Please don't think of God as an ogre or a mean father. Because He is NOT! He is not distant or angry or mean. There are times when we do wrong that He does have to discipline us but we know that as a parent we are supposed to show our love that way. God is love!

Good morning to you! May God bless you and keep you and fill you with His grace and peace! He can and will do it you know. My husband hurt his back yesterday. I haven't seen him in such pain in a long time. I am constantly asking him what can I do for him. I feel so bad. I know what it is like not to be able to move very well. There are certain things that you need to do that you can't. It is not only frustrating but impossible to do them without lots of pain.  But you know what? There is hope in Jesus Christ. We have prayed. We prayed for him at church last night and we have full confidence that Jesus Christ will heal him quickly. God has already given us answers to prayers for several things concerning this. God is so good! We will just wait patiently for the rest of his healing. Well, sort of. With all the rain we have had this year, everything is so green and pretty and the flowers are looking so beautiful. The color of this one azalea bush in my yard is so vivid as you can see. God's creation is so amazing and filled with His love . I was reading a new devotional booklet I received. The whole booklet is talking about God's garden and today's devotional was about when He created the earth and the Garden of Eden. It was perfect and created with His unconditional and perfect love. Then, it was talking about another garden, the Garden of Gethsemane, which was filled with God's love for us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. God knew exactly what He was doing when His plan included both gardens. So, how is your garden, your lawn, your flowers, your vegetables? Are you taking care of them? Or are you letting the

It is hard to believe that we are of the age to be thinking of that. It is funny how when you are younger you don't want to think about it so you don't. Then you get to the point where you have to and it is like you want to say "ugh! No not yet. Surely I am not that old." I am going to tell you now that it doesn't matter how old you are, you need to be putting money away. Even if it just 5, 10 or 20 dollars a paycheck. Do it! Time gets away from you and before you know it you are older and have no savings. They say you should always have enough money stashed away to live for a month in case of an emergency. Three months or more is really the best case scen a rio. How many times have you had something go wrong with the car or the washer break down or something like that and

Good morning on this great Monday! I was just reading a blog by Michael O'Brien's wife, Heidi. ( I talked about him a little yesterday. He is the former lead singer for Newsong. I j ust spent the weekend with him lead ing praise and worship. Awesome! ) Oh, my! Have you thought about your marriage lately? I mean really thought. Are you just making the motions? Good morning to you on this awesome day! Hope you had a great night. I sure did. Got to have dinner with my beautiful daughter and my handsome nephew at the beach. What a blessing! I couldn't have asked for anything more in this God moment. My Savior is alive. I just wanted to tell you that and that He loves you. I fell in love with a wonderful singer named Michael O'Brien this weekend. He is a guy who used to be lead singer with Newsong. He is the sweetest guy. I didn't get to actually meet him but I feel like I did. I love his singing style, actually he can sing in any style and he is a kick. He also sang a bunch of what he calls silly songs. He and his band are just wonderful.  I have just had the best time at an Extraordinary Women of Faith Conference in Pensacola, FL. It was absolutely awesome. And I love it here. It is so, so pretty. The sand is like very fine sugar. And last night it was really hopping here in this area of the country. I guess t
