When I took this picture in the Caribbean Sea in 2009 or  so, I took about 50 of them. I thought it was so amazing.  And my husband told me I was crazy to take so many of the same thing. Hello! Didn't get to this this morning. So, here I am. And now I am ready to fall asleep in the chair. And I did fall asleep a couple of times.  But I want you to know that Jesus loves you. And He was tempted before you and I were even thought of. Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into  the desert to be tempted by the devil. Matthew 4:1 If Jesus was tempted by the devil, how much more do you think that the devil will tempt us? He tempted Jesus who already was the Son of God from the very beginning. We were born into a sinful life, so the devil is going to try hard to take us away from Jesus, when we know Him as our Savior and Lord, to make us doubt Jesus, to make us sin against God. Beach on our way to Key West in 2012 Good morning! How are you on this blessed Monday? I pray that you were also blessed yesterday. The sermon at our church was about how Thomas doubted that Jesus was alive and had to see Him and see His nail scarred hands in order to believe. And "Jesus said to him, Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed  are those who have not seen and yet have believed." John 20:29 Have you not believed because you have not seen? Do you need proof that Jesus is alive? Do you not believe in Jesus because you have not seen Him? That is where faith comes in. Now faith is the substance of things hoped  for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 So, we must believe without seeing. What an attribute that is! And I do. Our home church had a fundraiser spaghetti dinner last night to raise money for our mission trip. God is so good! There wasn't a lot of people there unfortunately but the money raised for the trip is always awesome. And I thank each and every person who came, and prepared, and helped in any way. It really means a lot to us. But that is why God is good. He always provides for us. And I don't necessarily mean for the mission trip, which He does. But I am talking about our personal lives. He provides for us in every way. If we follow Him as we should, He will provide for us in every way. If we need money to pay our bills, He provides that money. If w

Parksville Lake on Easter Sunday Good morning to you! Blessings to you and to your families. God is an awesome God! May He fill you with His mercy and grace because those are gifts He gives us. And then we can be merciful and grace-filled to others. Remember we need to love our neighbors as ourselves and in doing that we need these attributes in our lives also. "Mercy and grace are often confused. While the terms have similar meanings, grace and mercy are not the same. To summarize the difference: mercy is God not punishing us as our sins deserve, and grace is God blessing us despite the fact that we do not deserve it. Mercy is deliverance from judgment. Good morning on this great Tuesday! What a great day yesterday was. I started out with a cup of coffee, a square of dark chocolate, and a hot tub. Now if that isn't great, I don't know what is except the love of Jesus. The love of Jesus is neverending.   Sometime last summer somewhere! Hello on this great Monday afternoon! I am sitting on a deck at a cabin in the mountains outside Blue Ridge, GA. What a beautiful day which the Lord has made. It is so peaceful and quiet. Except for our yawns and the birds. Three of us are sitting outside reading, well, I am not reading I am doing this. And the yawns are going around. Sounds like it is time for a nap. And I think I will.  Praise God from Whom all blessings flow! Praise God for hard work because then we can praise God for a little bit of rest and relaxation. And today is another day of rest for some of us. A time to get away with friends and have fun laughing and shopping and eating and eating some more. Sometimes when you are away from home it seems like all you do is eat.   Good morning! What a great and blessed Saturday! Are you resting today or preparing for Easter Sunday? We have been preparing for a week sort of. I can't wait for the services tomorrow. Our Sunrise Service tomorrow is at 6:45 AM on the hill at the cemetery down the street from our church. That should be awesome. Sunrise is at 7:03 AM. And it is supposed to be clear and 78* tomorrow. We are doing a cantata called Footsteps of Jesus . And I am excited about that also. It should be a very worshipful and awesome day to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I did the special bulletin for tomorrow. I made my husbands Easter basket. I do wish that we could dye eggs and do an egg hunt with our grandchildren. I just wish we could see them. I have much, much more to do before tomorrow because we are having a couple day hiatus from work etc. Praise the Lord! Lake Junaluska, NC Good morning! How are you this great and awesome day? Very well, I pray! It is the day that the Lord has made and we shall rejoice and be glad in it! I had trouble getting into this website this morning and last night I couldn't get into my Firefox web browser. It won't open when you click on it. Nothing happens. (So, glad that I also have Safari which is what Apple gives you on their computers. But I choose to use Firefox.) Now when and how did that happen? It worked just a few hours previous. Those things really baffle me.  Well, I am sure that a lot of things baffle us in our day to day lives. But God, our Creator, is right there to help us and take us through. He loves us and would do anything for us. You see He sent His One and Only Son here to earth, the sinful place that it is, to spread the Word of the gospel and teach His disciples about Him and His ways.
