Took this picture while walking on my road in the morning. Fog  was over the pond and the sun  was coming up. It was really cool!   Good day to you! Today is Halloween. I remember as a child going trick or treating. We ran the streets without our parents with no fear of problems or crime. There were many on the streets of our neighborhood and I am sure there were many parents but I don't even remember seeing them. The Halloween holiday for us was just for fun and for lots of candy. We took our kids out trick or treating when they were young but when they were a little older we decided that God wouldn't be pleased with the Halloween stuff and we stopped. Our kids didn't seem to fight it. At the time they seemed to be okay with it. I think we made the right decision at the time.  What does the Bible say about Halloween? Good morning to you! I am doing something very different and out of character for me. I usually walk 4 miles in the morning. But today it was raining hard at that time so that was out. I usually work in my house. I usually do the things I feel that I have to do. Well, this morning I am sitting on the couch, working on my computer, and watching TV.  I don't usually turn the TV on at all during the day. Maybe I will even read some of my book. I usually only read when I go to bed! And even though I am doing this, just maybe I can get something done today. I need to. I must. Oh, Lord help me to do just what You want me to do. I can't do it without You, Lord! The TV is off! Praise the Lord! But now I am not doing what I need to be doing. I just ate my breakfast so that is checked off my list. But I am still on this computer. And at this rate I won't check much more off my very long list! So, I had better get going and get something done. And with God&

Good morning! Are we having fun yet? Is your life a life of fun and excitement? Unfortunately, life is not necessarily fun. Life is serious. Life can sometimes be a pain, well, not a pain, but full of frustrations and temptations and situations. Is your life truly life or is it just existence? I am ready to have fun. I don't want to just exist. I want to laugh and be crazy and, well, have some fun. My husband and I are pretty serious people. We are homebodies. We don't go a lot. We like to take trips and we do have fun but at home we don't do much for fun. We tend to have our routine and don't stray much from it unless something comes up. Don't get me wrong. I love my life. I am very blessed and so thankful for the husband and children that God has given me. God has given us a roof over our heads and all the comforts He allows us to have.  Maybe we need to make our own fun. Like say stupid and silly things and sometimes do stupid and silly thi

Good Sunday morning! What a wonderful, blessed, fall Sunday! God has truly blessed us all and I praise His holy name. Do you go to church? Do you go and confess the same sin every week? Dr. Charles Stanley just said that on his show. Christ died for our sin. All of it. Do we accept his forgiveness? Have we confessed Jesus as the Son of God? Have you trusted Him as your Savior? A friend of mine took this picture recently  at Harrison Bay! Good day to you! What an awesome, beautiful day! It will get to about 68 here today and got to 62 yesterday. And it is windy so it will feel cooler. I love beautiful fall days.  Every day is a day that the Lord has made and I choose to rejoice and be glad in it. All year long! How about you?
