NEW LIFE
The tree in my yard outside my window! All the red spots are
buds although they are not real visible in this picture.
May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ
give you grace and peace. Ephesians 1:2 NLT
Good morning! I am sitting here looking out the window at a tree in my yard. It is February 3 and it is budding already. This means that the tree thinks that it is the start of spring since it has been so warm on and off. The buds are ready to burst forth with new life!
We have had cold times this winter thus far but not an extended period. Although today it is cold, about 40*, and somewhat windy. But once the tree starts to bud it doesn't stop unless we have significant freezing weather and the buds freeze and die.

We have seasons in our life where things are going really well so we praise God or things are so well we don't need God, so we don't even talk to Him. Shame on us!
We also have seasons in our life that things don't go well at all and so we talk to God constantly as we should. Or we talk to Him alright, but we are angry because we think that He is causing bad things to happen or why does He allow these things to happen to us.
Well, let's start out with some scriptures that go with these things:
Rejoice at all times. Pray without ceasing.
Give thanks in every circumstance, for this
is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.…
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 BSB
(The bad things are not God's will but rejoicing and praying always and giving thanks in all things are.)
(The bad things are not God's will but rejoicing and praying always and giving thanks in all things are.)
And we know that in all things God works
for the good of those who love Him, who
have been called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28 NIV
And give thanks for everything to God the
Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephesians 5:20 NLT
So, God's Word tells us to rejoice at all times, whether good or bad; to never stop praying; to give thanks in every circumstance, that means good or bad; and if we love God, then we have been called according to His purpose, so therefore we know that in all things (good or bad) God works for the good.
In all circumstances we must trust Him to work it out, to get us through, to help us endure hardships. And the best part of all, He will!
Trust in the LORD with all your heart And
do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He
will make your paths straight.…
Proverbs 3:5-6
We must trust Him! I don't believe that God causes bad things. We live in a fallen world. An evil world. The evil one (satan) thinks that he is in control. So, he makes bad things happen so we would curse God and follow satan. Well, he is not in control! GOD is in control. HE is the victor. HE has overcome. And so will we!
Not only that, but we also rejoice in
our sufferings, because we know that
suffering produces perseverance;
perseverance, character; and character, hope.…
Romans 5:3-4
because everyone born of God overcomes
the world. And this is the victory that
has overcome the world: our faith. Who
then overcomes the world? Only he who
believes that Jesus is the Son of God.…
1 John 5:4-5
As days go by and good and bad things happen in your life, trust that God is with you and will never leave you. He loves you and will take care of you, and through it all He will build character in you and give you hope. We just have to trust Him always.
But to do all these things we must have a relationship with Jesus. We must make Him our Lord and our Savior so that we also, like the tree, may burst forth with new life. That is what Christianity is, a relationship, not a religion.
So, Jesus loves you, give your life to Him. Today is the day of salvation! Ask Jesus into your heart today: http://www.allaboutgod.com/salvation-prayer.htm
Dear brothers and sisters, may the grace of
our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
Amen. Galatians 6:18
Have a blessed day!
