SEEK ME!

This is where I see part of God's 
glory and that is in His creation. 
This is Philippsburg, St. Maarten 
in the southern Caribbean.

Good morning! I was praying and reading God's Word as I most always do first thing in the morning. I try real hard. This scripture came to my mind:

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble 
themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from 
their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.                  
2 Chronicles 7:14

What struck me were the words "seek My face". What exactly is that? How do I do it? That is exactly what I want to do with my life is seek the face of Jesus. Just think, if everyone in the world would do that we would be in heaven on earth. Which will happen one day! 

My heart says of you, "Seek his 
face!" Your face, LORD, I will seek.
Psalm 27:8

In my mind doing that means we must do all of these things: to love the Lord your God...

And you must love the LORD your God 
with all your heart, all your soul, all your 
mind, and all your strength.
Mark 12:30 NLT

Pray without ceasing;
1 Thessalonians 5:17

They welcomed the message with eagerness 
and examined the Scriptures daily to 
see if these things were so. 
Acts 17:11b HCSB

Rejoice always...give thanks in all circumstances; 
for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16, 18
 
I will praise you, Lord my God, with all 
my heart; I will glorify your name forever.
Psalm 86:12

 God is spirit, and his worshipers must 
worship in the Spirit and in truth.
John 4:24

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in 
view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as 
a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—
this is your true and proper worship.
Romans 12:1  

I am sure there are more ways to seek God's face but this is how to do it in my mind. I would like to get another opinion on this.

The article is kind of long but well worth the read.

I pray in the Name of Jesus that you will also long to seek the face of God. I certainly try to do this but I need to be more diligent in this. I know that it would make my walk with God much more awesome than it already is. And He would be well pleased!

VICTORY

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
