Good morning to you!

I have not written in a while but I would like to try and do it more often. Catch the word "try".
 
I have really had a heart for a scripture lately. This scripture is: Colossians 3:11. It has really touched me. At least the one part has got to me. It is in my mind forever. I can't get it out of my mind and I don't want to. It didn't touch me as much until recently when I read it in the New Living Translation (NLT). I will quote it first in the New International Version (NIV) and then in the NLT.

Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. Colossians 3:11 NIV

In this new life, it doesn't matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us. Colossians 3:11 NLT (My bold print.)

Now the part that I want to keep in my heart and quote forever is the last part, the first part of the b part: Christ is all that matters!

Yes, Christ is all, and is in all in the NIV. But the NLT just made it all come together for me. CHRIST IS ALL THAT MATTERS and he lives in all of us!

It does not matter who you are, what you have done, where you are going, when you ask Jesus into your heart, you are saved, born again, washed in the blood of Jesus and then CHRIST IS ALL THAT MATTERS and He lives in you! 

Sure, we need to live our lives for Jesus. We need to listen to God:

No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8 NLT (my bold print.)

Wow! Do right, love mercy, walk humbly with your God! This is powerful! God's Word is powerful!

But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul. Deuteronomy 4:29 NIV

God's Word is absolutely amazing! And in all reality it is very simple. It is us who makes it so difficult. It seems as if there is so much to do. We could get tired just thinking about it. If Christ is all that matters and we seek Him with all our heart and soul, and do right, love mercy, and walk humbly with Him, then the rest will all fall into place.

Think about this. Pray about this. Say it out loud over and over again! And don't forget it! See how Jesus Christ can change your life!

CHRIST IS ALL THAT MATTERS!

VICTORY

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
