GOD IS ALWAYS WITH US

The beach is my happy place. It always calms me!

Good morning! 

It has been quite awhile since I have posted anything. But this morning I feel God nudging me to do it today.

I have not slept very well the last few nights. Before that I have been sleeping great. But this is nothing new. When I have something going on I do get nervous for Christmas programs, etc. 

One thing on my mind is our daughter's presentation today. A few weeks ago she was named Teacher of the Year at her school. We are so very proud of her. But that entails much more after that. That award puts her in the running for Teacher of the Year in their region. (She works at an Imagine School which is a charter school.)

Well, it all happens today, this very morning. She has a 40 minute interview with the imagine team and then that team watches her teach for an hour. I can imagine how scared she is as well as stressed. We told her just to be herself and do the best she can and the rest is up to God. Also, we told her to pray a lot and we will pray with her also. 

Having worked in an elementary school teaching music, I know what she is feeling. Every year when we had our spring music program, I stressed about it to no end. I knew God was going to be with me every step of the way but I was still so nervous. 

We can pray and tell ourselves it will all be okay but in our humanness we still get extremely nervous. 

Remember the Bible verse:
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. 
Philippians 4:13 BSB

Also, the scripture that says:
For nothing is impossible with God. 
Luke 1:37 NLT

And: 
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Philippians 4:6 NIV

So, with God's help we can do anything. He will help us with everything good in our lives. If we ask Him to help us with something He doesn't want us to do or something not so good, He may help us in a different way. He may use something different or better. God knows the big picture. He knows what our limits are. What we can handle. And where we need to be in our walk with Him. But whatever the situation, God will always be with us.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 
Isaiah 41:10 ESV

Know that God is with you in every situation you are going through in your life. We just have to trust Him. Like this verse says: He will never leave us or forsake us.

No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Joshua 1:5 NIV

So, as we prepare for the birthday of the coming Christ, remember He loves you, He is always with you, and He will never leave you. We can count on it. God keeps His promises!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
