PRAISE GOD!
Good morning!
The Lord wants me to share with you about praising God! You might think "What to I have to praise Him about? My life is a shambles right now. There is this virus and we can't do anything but stay home." Well, help us Jesus. We are all in the same boat. We all have a totally different boat but we are, or at least most of us, staying home, staying out of trouble or harm's way. "Well, what do you mean by that?"
Well, we all have our own lives to live that are totally different. We all have different situations. We can't avoid those situations. Well, maybe some of them we can. But those are for a different day.
One thing we can all do is praise the Lord! A lot of us have a family at home with us. Praise the Lord! And with that family at home we have the opportunity spend quality time together, to teach life lessons, to sit and cuddle that we don't always have time to do, and bond like we should. Praise the Lord! Some of us have husbands, or we are working. Praise the Lord! Most of us have a home to live in. Praise the Lord! Most of us are fairly healthy. Praise the Lord! We have air to breathe. Praise the Lord! We have heat and air depending on where we live. Praise the Lord! We have food to eat. Praise the Lord! We have clothes to wear. Praise the Lord! We have friends. Praise the Lord! We have a church family. At least a lot of us do. Praise the Lord! We have the beauty in our surroundings. Praise the Lord! We have flowers to see and green grass (such as it is). Praise the Lord! Trees. Animals. Praise the Lord! God keeps us safe. Praise the Lord! God heals us when we are sick. Praise the Lord! Do you see the point? He gives us the free gift of salvation! Praise the Lord! He forgives us. Praise the Lord! He loves us. Praise the Lord! He blesses us. Praise the Lord! Now do you see it?
Now for some scriptures on these things:
Psalm 150:1-5 “Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in His sanctuary: praise Him in the firmament of His power. Praise Him for His mighty acts: praise Him according to His excellent greatness. Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet: praise Him with the psaltery and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: praise Him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals: praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!"
Psalm 148:1-5 “Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise Him in the heights! Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts! Praise Him, sun and moon, praise Him, all you shining stars! Praise Him, you highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens! Let them praise the name of the Lord! For He commanded and they were created.”
Psalm 9:1 “I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.” (NKJV)
Psalm 107:1 “O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good: for His mercy endures for ever.” (KJV)
Psalm 50:23 “Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies Me; And to him that orders his way aright will I show the salvation of God.” (KJV)
Psalm 22:3 You are holy, You inhabit the praises of Israel. (KJV Ad.)
1 Chronicles 29:11-13 “Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, And You are exalted as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. Now therefore, our God, We thank You, and praise Your glorious name.” (NKJV)
James 5:13 “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.” (ESV)
Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” (ESV)
Hebrews 13:15 “Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.” (ESV)
Psalm 103:2-5 “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with loving kindness and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle.” (NASB)
Nehemiah 9:5-6 “Arise, bless the Lord your God forever and ever! O may Your glorious name be blessed and exalted above all blessing and praise! You alone are the Lord. You have made the heavens, The heaven of heavens with all their host, The earth and all that is on it, The seas and all that is in them. You give life to all of them, and the heavenly host bows down before You.” (NASB)
I could go on because there are so many more. But do you see what God is telling us? He is telling us to praise Him. And do you know why? Because HE IS WORTHY!
Revelation 4:11 “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”
And in all their kingdoms,There is none like You.
Jeremiah 10:7 Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? Indeed it is Your due!
For among all the wise men of the nationsAnd in all their kingdoms,There is none like You.
Psalm 147:1 Praise the Lord!
For it is good to sing praises to our God;For it is pleasant and praise is becoming.
So in all of our trials and tribulations that we are going through, praise God anyway.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
All circumstances. Not just the good!
Ephesians 5:18b-20 Instead, be filled with the Spirit. 19Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your hearts to the Lord, 20always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.…
Always giving thanks for everything, even the bad. God uses the bad for His good will.
Does this all make sense? I pray in the Name of our God that it does make sense to you. If you don't know Jesus as your Lord and Savior and accepted the free gift of salvation, then the Bible says that today is the day of salvation!
2 Corinthians 6:2 For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.
So today is the day! Give your heart to Jesus. We don't even know if we have another day, minute, or second. If Jesus comes back, as He says He is, and that happens in a moment, then you may not have the chance to give your heart to Him. Do it now!

I hope this helps you praise the Lord, for He is good all the time! And all the time He is good!
Have an amazing day!

P.S. I always go back and edit and fix any word and paragraph mistakes before I post this but the ones on this post and others, as well, I can't figure out how to fix. I have tried and tried, so just read it for what it is and I hope and pray that you are encouraged by the Lord! Amen!
