WHAT A DAY!

Dear friends and loved ones,

Good morning! What a day and time that we are living in. Do we go to the grocery store or not? Do we go outside or not? Will the store have toilet paper or not? Is it possible to stay 6 feet apart if we do go to the store? Will I get the virus? Will I get really sick if I do? Will I infect my family? Will I die or get well if I get it? If I get "it" will I infect others?

Are you worrying? Please don't worry!

Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.1 Peter 5:7

So many questions and no answers! If we have a stay at home order in our county or state,  do we stay at home? Well, that is part of the problem. We are not following the rules. Well, when it comes to something like this, this virus, we have to follow these rules. In our state we don't have a stay-at-home order, like many of the others. I believe it is because we are following the rules, we are social distancing ourselves. It may come to this eventually but I hope not. Of course, we are a more rural state also. That is an advantage. I know in the big cities the virus cases are much more even in our state.
Also, people here seem to like to stay home. Although, I believe everyone may be getting a little stir crazy, tired of staying in.

Well, we do have an answer. We certainly do! The answer is Jesus!! God, the Father, sent His one and only Son, Jesus to take all our sin.

16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. John 3:16-17

Jesus took our sin upon His back to save us from our sins. "I don't sin!" Don't take this personally but yes you do. The Bible says that all of us sin.

22 -that is, God's righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ, to all who believe, since there is no distinction.

23For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

24They are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

25 God presented Him as a propitiation through faith in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His restraint God passed over the sins previously committed.

26 He presented Him to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be righteous and declare righteous the one who has faith in Jesus.
 Romans 3:22-26

Oh, Lord, save us from our sins. Then, we ask you to save us from the virus. Save us from the fear, the uncertainty, the anxiety, and all the things that affect us negatively. In Jesus Name, Amen!

We need His peace, His love, His Word, His still small voice, and His thunderous, powerful voice. Most of the time I think that we don't listen to Him so He needs to speak to us with a strong and loud voice. Then we need to do what He tells us to. He will help us!

God doesn't want us to be sick and tired, and tired and sick. He wants us to love Him with all our being, trust Him, talk to Him, praise Him, worship Him, and be obedient to Him. When we are obedient to Him it also means we follow the laws of the land, honoring our leaders. Amen? Amen!

New American Standard Bible

16 Rejoice at all times. 17Pray without ceasing.18Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Thessalonians 5:16-18

Praise the LORD! Sing to the LORD a new song. Sing his praises in the assembly of the faithful. Psalm 149:1

Worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth. Psalm 96:9

Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess. Deuteronomy 5:33

Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. James 1:22

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Romans 13:1

Oh Lord, help us! This is a lot. It sounds hard.

It is not hard at all! When we have Jesus living in our hearts, we have His help in everything, even living for Him! So, today is the day of salvation! Give your heart to Him.

So take these words to heart. Know Him! Trust Him! And let Him fill you with His peace during these very trying times!

Love,

Lesbear
