PEACE IN TROUBLE


 
Good morning to you this fine Sunday!
2 Thessalonians 3:16
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

Is your peace waning? Are you troubled? Do you pray for God's peace? Do you keep your focus on Christ? The Holy One Who died on the cross for your sins?

We do live in a troubled world. We do have things in our individual lives that trouble us. But if our focus is on Jesus those things in our lives that upset us will be taken care of because God is with us. Now they may not turn out the way we want them to. But God has a plan for our lives. He knows the big picture. He knows what is coming ahead for us. So, the results of our troubles are in God's hand. And however things turn out are perfect for us as long as we keep our focus on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

So,

Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Psalm 63:1-2
O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. 2 I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory.

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

So, seek the Lord with all of your might and see how much peace you will have in turbulence. And bless the Lord with your thanksgiving!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
