LIKE CHRIST

 

Good morning!
I know it has been awhile since I have published a blog. This Advent season has been extremely busy. That is no excuse, I know. And there is so much to tell you. Just remember that Jesus is the Reason for the Season. Without Him we would have no Christ-mas!

To me at this time, Christmas means more of Christ. Are we seeking more of Christ? Do we want to know Him better? Do we want to be Christ-like?

To put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
Ephesians 4:22-24

Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.
1 John 2:6

Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.
1 Corinthians 11:1 

This I wrote before Christmas about the 20th of Dec. I never published it! A few days after this was written I started feeling bad. So, I will quickly finish it and publish it as written. But don't forget to read today's actual blog.

So, as I said let us be Christ-like. Let us be more like Him. And how do we find out how to do that, start reading the Word of God. Start with the Book of John in the New Testament, then read other books in the New Testament. See what Jesus was like! And You will want to be more like Him!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
