PRAY GOD'S WORD FOR HEALING

Image result for new year's

Hello there! Greetings in the Name of Jesus! It has been a while since I have written to you, my readers. I have been sick since before Christmas. Well, not really sick. Well, I was around New Year's Day! I have had a sore throat on and off for about 3 weeks. But my God is Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord my Healer!

Right now He is working on my behalf. We want to be healed right now! But it is in His timing not mine. He knows the big picture for all of us. He knows what is best for us. And if my sore throat is with me for longer, then so be it. His plan is perfect! And I will wait on Him and praise and worship Him all the way.

I did complain a little saying that I was tired of having a sore throat and that I was over it! In my humanness and frailty we do get sick and tired of things like that. But I still am praising Him and thanking Him all along the way, every day! Because in the grand scheme of things my little bitty sore throat is small compared to what others are going through.

So, I have given my throat to God and then trying to be patient in waiting for my healing. I do have a doctor's appt. (not for my throat) on Thursday and I will bring it up then. God made doctors and He uses them for His glory also.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10

And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words.
Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart;
for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body.
Proverbs 4:20-22

O LORD my God, I called to you for help and you healed me.
Psalm 30:2

These scriptures are not just for me but for you also. And these are just a very few of the many, many healing scriptures in God's Word. Speak these verses. Turn them into prayer. If you have never prayed scripture then you need to start now. You can buy a book to help you like Prayers That Avail Much by Germaine Copeland. There are many versions and volumes published but they will teach you how to pray that way. Or you can go online to many websites.

Here is an excerpt from www.prayingscriptures.com.

Praying God's Word

"Would you like your prayers to be more powerful? Pray the Scriptures. Hebrews 4:12 says that God's Word is alive and powerful, sharper than a two-edged sword. When we speak and pray the Scriptures, we are coming into agreement with God, and His power is released to answer our prayers.
Maybe you feel like God doesn't hear your prayers? Or maybe you don't know what to pray for in certain situations. On the Prayer Promises page, I have gathered Bible Scriptures such as 1 John 5:14, which tells us we can have confidence in God. Not only does He hear our prayers, but He also promises to answer them when we pray in line with His will. He hastens to perform His Word."

This excerpt is just one of many. But you can click on the link and read about praying the scriptures.

There are also many Psalms of David praying to his God that we can use.

There is healing in His (God's) wings!

"But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture."
                                                                   Malachi 4:2 TLB

So, if you have a need to healed, call on God. He is the Author and Perfecter of our faith and He will touch you in His timing and way. And remember His ways are not our ways and our thoughts are not His thoughts.

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," declares the LORD. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts..."
                                                                  Isaiah 55:8-9

Have an awesome week!
