TRY HARDER


 
Hello to you!
What have you been doing this past week? Have you been spending time with God? Have you been worshiping Him? Have you been serving Him?

These are things to think about. How well am I doing these things? Well, I need to think about it, too. We can always do better at the things that mean the most. We can always spend more time with God. We can always worship more, worship in Spirit and in truth. We can always serve the Lord every second, every minute, every hour. We can always try harder. We can do better!

Life is hard. Life is not what we always expect it to be. But God can change our life. He can make it better not perfect, not easy but better. And with Him in our lives and us being obedient to Him, through time with Him, worship, and service we can have a live that is awesome, abundant, and everlasting.

And all because we believe in the One True God! We give our heart to Him. We follow Him!

Here are some scriptures to point out these things:

Matthew 6:33 

But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Matthew 6:6 

But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
 
John 4:23-24

"But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

Joshua 24:18b

"We too will serve the LORD, because he is our God."

1 Corinthians 10:31

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
 
Colossians 3:23 

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not to men;

John 10:10 

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.
