HIM FIRST





Good morning!
Philippians 4:19
And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Isn't that amazing? He will you know. Your needs may not be financial. They may be something so much worse or so much more but God will meet them. It may not be the way you want or may not be what you expect but He will meet them. 

We do have to remember that we do want God's will to be done as The Lord's Prayer says. So He will meet our every need with His will not ours.

That is really awesome because if we do something our way and did not seek God first and it doesn't work then we can only blame ourselves, or at least we should blame ourselves. Our human thinking is that it is God's fault because He didn't make it work. NO NO NO! If we didn't seek Him first, then that is our fault. He can make it work when we don't seek Him first. But if it is not in our own best interest then probably He won't. And just maybe it didn't work because God knew the consequences of our plan and we might get hurt some way.

So we never know how things are going to work out but God does. And in everything we should seek Him first. And He will do what's best for us.

Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Let's move on past the US, US first and move into the JESUS, JESUS first! Life will be so much better!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
