NEW YEAR?

Good day to you!

Happy New Year to everyone!

Christmas is over. But in all reality Christmas is never over. Never done. Never finished. It is always with us. Christ is always with us!

Deuteronomy 31:6
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

So, it is the stress, the hustle and bustle, the extreme busyness that is finished, past, over until next year. But Jesus is not over until next year. It may be His birthday that only comes once a year just like our birthdays. But just like us we don't go away or disappear. Neither does Jesus. He is with us always. He is in our heart!

Is Jesus in your heart? Have you asked Him to live in your heart? If you have not, it is time.

2 Corinthians 6:2
for He says, "AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU, AND ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU." Behold, now is "THE ACCEPTABLE TIME," behold, now is "THE DAY OF SALVATION "--

It is a new year. Never even thought years ago about being alive in 2015. I didn't know where I would be or never really thought about it. What ever happened or didn't happen in the past is just that: in the past. The new is coming. A new year. A time to forget about the past and move on. A new beginning. A time to make changes. A time for new and throwing out the old. And Jesus is the key to all this.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

When you accept Jesus as Lord then the old things have passed away or get thrown out and everything becomes new. Hallelujah! Now this may not happen overnight but it will happen. We must let God work in our lives and He will.

Just like last year is gone and we now have a new year to start over, to begin anew, to refresh or regroup and we pray that it will be a better year. We always would like an even better year ahead.

So, as this New Year's Day ends and tomorrow begins, let's ask God to touch our lives, to refresh us, to lead, guide, and direct us, to fill our cups not just half full but to overflowing.

Blessings,

Lesbear
