GOD'S TEAM

Good morning to you! As usual the first day arrival was a little chaotic. Stuff in the trailer ended up at the place for where we have VBS 25 miles away. But that is a normal day in the life of Choctaw. Choctaw time is not our time! Chaos is a little bit of a normalcy!

Each year God gives us an awesome lesson in patience and faith in Him! 



These pictures are bits and pieces of our team. First picture is of the group in the vicinity of Jones Chapel UMC, Athens, TN. Then we met up with  our group from Kingston UMC area. We met at McDonalds in Charleston, TN. Then we met up with the rest of our team from Bessemer, AL area. And now here we are in Choctaw, MS. And we praise God for it all!  

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”  John 16.33

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”  Psalms 46:1

“And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.”  Colossians 3:15

So here we are and God is with us every step of the way and we praise Him for it!
Pray for our first day of VBS tonight. That God would be honored, praised and glorified.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
