GOD'S TEAM


Good morning to you!
Just 9 more days until I am able to write my blogs about the Choctaw Mission Trip. I will post pictures and write about what is going on in Choctaw, MS, our trip, and VBS. I hope that you will tune in. Please pray for our team as we prepare, travel, and live this trip for a week, June 21-27. 

We are so looking forward to it and I am sure looking forward to living it and then telling you about it. May God be honored, glorified, and lifted up through the whole trip, before, during and after. And then I pray that you would be filled with His love and presence as Jesus does awesome things and uses us as His hands and feet in this small part of His world.

As I said yesterday, this time before we go can be a very stressful time for us all. But I am trusting God to fill us with His presence and equip us for the job that He has for us. I, as a certified team leader, have so much to do. As much as I love it, the preparations for a team of 31 can be lots of work, but God is working and I am asking Him to lead, guide and direct me every step of the way and He is. And He is lifting the stress and fear off of my shoulders one more time. 

I have been doing this trip for 17 years and this year adds one more. I praise God for the awesome privilege and opportunity to be doing this for so long. And being consistent actually makes the plans a little easier than if I was doing it for the first time. And I praise God for that.

1 Chronicles 29:13:
Now, our God, we give you thanks, 
and praise your glorious name.

2 Thessalonians 3:3:
But the LORD is faithful, and 
he will strengthen you and protect 
you from the evil one. 
Psalm 9:1-2:
I will praise you, O LORD, with all
my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.
I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing 
praise to your name, O Most High. 
So, remember the 22nd when my blog starts with the trip. I will try to post by 3 PM that week while gone and I hope that you will be encouraged by what God does for His mission team. All of us on the team couldn't do it without His awesome help and leading.

And He will do the same for you whatever you do in working for Him.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help. Look to the LORD and his  strength; seek his face always. 1 Chronicles 16:11 The LORD is my strength and  my song; he has become my salvation.  He is my God, and I will praise him,  my father's God, and I will exalt him.
