TIME
Hello on this fine day!
I always thought 23 1/2 years ago when we moved here from California that I would slow down and not be so busy. Well, my time is not my own anymore. I know that I talk about being busy pretty often. That is usually because I am stressed and too busy for my own good.
It seems as though I get busier and busier. I know that that certainly changes week by week but I need to just "slow down". Maybe take a breather. Wind down. Get some rest. Calm down. Take it easy. Catch one's breath. Just not get stressed. And I will ask God for His will to be done. It is all in how you look at it, I guess.
If you want time to speed up, get busier. If you want time to slow down, then don't do anything. Time flies when you are having fun and it crawls when you don't do much or don't have fun. I want my time to be God's. I want His will to be done in my life. I have heard that a busy person get's more done. I just googled it.
If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it.
That is why it seems in church or anywhere else that it is the same people that seem to do most of the work. They are busy people and they want to see things get done. Their time is not their own, and maybe it is God's.
I am not the only one who is busy. I have heard many others say the same thing. So, let's take a rest and slow down a bit and put our focus on Jesus and then everything else will fall into place.
Matthew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
2 Timothy 1:9
He has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we
have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was
given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,
