Good morning to you!
May the Lord shine His face upon you! May He lift you up and give you peace wherever you are at the day that the Lord has made!

We had movie night last night at our church. It was the first time since my husband has been pastor there. What fun it was! We had it outside and people from the neighborhood came as well as church people. We had barbequed hotdogs and popcorn for the movie. We showed Heaven is for Real. If you haven't seen it, you need to. 

I had read the book several years ago and it followed the book pretty close. It was great. Heaven is for real and the sooner people realize it the better. There are people out there with no hope because they don't know Jesus. They don't know where they are going in the end. They don't know that there can be a happy ending for their lives. 

That is where our witnessing comes in. It is our job to let them know how much Jesus loves them and that there is a hope and a happy ending. And that is Jesus!

So, that is our challenge for this week, to see how many people we can tell about Jesus. Sometimes our telling is just being who God has called us to be by showing a smile, a hug, an encouraging word, or a kindness to someone. We may be the only Jesus that someone might see (Jesus in us). But let them know that heaven is for real and that Jesus is the answer.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.
