HAVE FUN
Good morning!
Are we having fun yet? Is your life a life of fun and excitement? Unfortunately, life is not necessarily fun. Life is serious. Life can sometimes be a pain, well, not a pain, but full of frustrations and temptations and situations. Is your life truly life or is it just existence?
I am ready to have fun. I don't want to just exist. I want to laugh and be crazy and, well, have some fun. My husband and I are pretty serious people. We are homebodies. We don't go a lot. We like to take trips and we do have fun but at home we don't do much for fun. We tend to have our routine and don't stray much from it unless something comes up.
Don't get me wrong. I love my life. I am very blessed and so thankful for the husband and children that God has given me. God has given us a roof over our heads and all the comforts He allows us to have.
Maybe we need to make our own fun. Like say stupid and silly things and sometimes do stupid and silly things. I can try to do that!
John 10:10
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
Is the thief stealing our joy? God gives us abundant life which I believe and know is true but I also believe that we can let the evil one steal it all away from us. I also think that God wants us to have fun. Otherwise, He wouldn't have given us joy and laughter.
1 Timothy 6:18-19
They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and
ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good
foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is
truly life.
I want to be generous and share God's love, fun, and joy with others. I am not a funny person but I would like to be. Remember that all things are possible with God. So, in that case, God could make me funny. He can help us to have fun. Let's just pray for it.
Proverbs 17:22
A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
Psalm 126:2
Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”Job 8:21
He will yet fill your mouth with laughter, and your lips with shouting.Ecclesiastes 3:4
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;Proverbs 15:13
A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed.I do think that God wants us to be full of joy, filled with laughter, making a time to laugh with a cheerful face but only at just the right time. And I am thankful for just the right time!
Have a joyful day!
