I do what I can, but it is not easy since I work and have responsibilities in my own immediate family as well. Because life has become such a struggle for Mom and Dad, our every visit or phone conversation has become focused on the next list of requests they have for me. I took this picture of the sunrise this morning while walking.    Good morning to you! I got up during the night last night and I saw lots of light flashing. So, either someone was outside our window with a flashlight or there was far away lightening. I choose to side with the lightening although I didn't know there was supposed to be any storms anywhere nearby. Sometimes the storms of life are far away and sometimes they are too close. The issue here is how we deal with them. Good morning! Oh, God, why do I allow the evil one to get to me? When I am in a hurry and something simple and small happens and I get upset then I am not allowing God to work. My frustrations are not from God. My attitude is not from God either. Help me Lord! Again time constraints. So, I will share a great devotion for you. It meant something to me! Well, I know that you probably aren't going anywhere that you need to pack. We leave soon on vacation. Usually I pack weeks or even a month before we leave or at least get started a month in advance. I have 5 days and haven't even packed a thing. I did lay out a few shirts but that is it. Lord, help me! This coming week will be crazy with all I have to do before we leave. But I am praising the Lord for the opportunity to get away with my husband. The Hiwassee River is about 6 miles from our house on the road and maybe  a couple of miles as the crow flies. Good morning to you! What do you do when life gets busy? Obviously for me it is skip this blog. I didn't even realize that I had not done it until last night. And then didn't know I had missed two days until just now. Ugh! Forgive me! I love doing this but sometimes when I have a busy day ahead and it starts very early I miss it. What else have I missed in life because I was too busy? I am sure it is a lot of things. And how often do I miss God because I get so caught up in my busyness that I miss Him. Shame on me! Forgive me Lord! That is not how I want to live my life. I want to live it for Jesus. Good morning! Moving kind of slow this morning. I was blessed to walk with my neighbor at 7:30 am but since then haven't done much. Oh, I did clean up a mess. My potatoes rotted and I didn't know it.   Good morning! How are you this fine holiday Monday! Just what is Labor Day anyway? We see holidays on the calendar. We have work off on this holiday every year, if we work. But what actually is it? Labor Day in the United States is a holiday celebrated on the first Monday in September. It is a celebration of the American labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of their country.
