STORMS OF LIFE

I took this picture of the sunrise this morning while walking.

 Good morning to you!

I got up during the night last night and I saw lots of light flashing. So, either someone was outside our window with a flashlight or there was far away lightening. I choose to side with the lightening although I didn't know there was supposed to be any storms anywhere nearby.

Sometimes the storms of life are far away and sometimes they are too close. The issue here is how we deal with them. This is the ideal way:

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded you? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be you dismayed: for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.
2 Samuel 7:28 And now, O Lord GOD, you are that God, and your words be true, and you have promised this goodness to your servant:
Psalms 9:10 And they that know your name will put their trust in you: for you, LORD, have not forsaken them that seek you.
Psalms 13:5 But I have trusted in your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
Psalms 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
Psalms 31:14 But I trusted in you, O LORD: I said, You are my God.
Psalms 56:3 What time I am afraid, I will trust in you.

There are many more verses but I will stop here. The ideal way of dealing with life's storms is not always easy. It can actually be downright difficult. We are human, you know!

But it is a choice just like everything else. We can choose to trust God and let Him work in our difficulties or we can do it our way and try to fix it and work at it on our own. And on our own the results will not be as great and awesome as God's results.

So, let's try harder to trust the Lord in every situation because:

Isaiah 55:8
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Have a tip top day!
