Good morning! I pray all is well with you. Praise God for His awesome love and blessings He gives us. His love and blessings runneth over.  We watched a movie last night that really made me think about what God has given us and how we kind of take those things for granted. How would we feel if all we had was taken away from us.  The movie was about a very wealthy family where the husband/father stole other people's money. Possibly to help pay for the youngest daughters medicine and whatever else. Needless to say the mother and three daughters were left almost destitute.  The law or whomever sold their house, all their cars, and belongings to give back some of the money to investors. Two of the daughters had never worked before but were out of school and one daughter was still in school but had cancer and was taking a very expensive drug. The two daughters had trouble finding jobs because of their last name showing they were their father's daughters. ...

I woke up with a start this morning. I had a dream that was really weird and I can't seem to forget it. I ate dinner at 8 or 8:30 last night and I know I shouldn't eat late. Usually we just have a snack after church on Sunday nights but I ate a meal of leftovers and it tasted good but eating roast beef that late isn't good for me. The doc said that I should eat red meat at all and I did. O my! D o you remember your dreams ? The only time I do is when I eat late or eat really spicy food for dinner. Then I do remember my dreams and usually they are not dreams I want to remember. Not that they are really bad just not so good or uplifting and kind of strange . Good morning to you on this blessed Sabbath Day! Yesterday I had issues with my post. I lost my task bar and couldn't change anything, font, font color, paragraph style, etc. And I thought Oh Lord, help me fix this so I can make a more appealing post today. Well, what had happened was I had somehow clicked on the HTML button and it took the task bar away. I thank God that He directed me to that immediately this morning so I didn't spend lots of time figuring out what I had done wrong yesterday. Sometimes I think satan tries to stick in little jabs at us to confound and frustrate us so we get upset and don't immediately turn to God for answers. This time I didn't get frustrated and God pointed me in the right direction. Praise God! Good morning this fine Saturday morning! I pray all is well with you. Having computer problems so bear with me. We went to my son and daughter-in-law's yesterday afternoon to see my oldest grandson's basketball game at 8 am this morning. How exciting! He plays on an Upward Basketball team for kindergarteners. How fun is that! It was so much see him play. "The Lord, your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with his love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17 This scripture really excited me even more! Wow. How God loves us! He is with us and never leaves us. He is mighty to save even when we don't deserve it. He takes great delight in us no matter how we act or what we do. God quiets us with His love even when we don't shut up and listen to Him. And He rejoices over us with singing even when we can't carry a tune in a bucket to sing to Him. I am sitting here with my Bible, on my vibrating seat ,  with a cup of coffee and my 1 oz. square of dark chocolate, my praise music, our dog at my feet, and my computer, getting ready to face this new and glorious day that God has given us. We have had 6 1/2 inches of rain in 3 days and everything is very flooded and this morning the clouds rolled away and it is in the high 20's so the all the roads and such are very icy. My husband has not gone to work because of that but he will leave when it warms up a few degrees. We were supposed to get 1-2 inches of snow but that didn't happen. It flurried a little bit. I know that Knoxville get a bit of snow. I called my doctor yesterday for my test results and he had shut down shop because of the weather coming in. Oh, such is life! May God bless you and keep you and give you peace.  Have you ever come to the point that you have so much to do in the next few weeks that you are totally overwhelmed and have some anxiety issues? I am kind of feeling that way now. I have a lot to do and company coming and business to take care of and a house to clean. Would you believe my Christmas tree is still up? I did get the ornaments off but now my husband has to repair all the lights.  I mentioned once before that we bought a pre-lit tree about 7 years ago. So, when we put the tree up this year, there were several strands of lights burned out. Now after Christmas there is only 1 or 2 strands that even work now. My husband said that after Christmas he would fix them. So, now we leave the tree up for however long it takes for him to fix it or re-string it. Oh my! Good morning! How are you today? I pray all is well with you. Have you seen all the water around? I pray for the safety of each person on the road. I drove to Etowah, TN yesterday and our road is closed so I had to go another way. And the Chestuee Creek is way above flood stage. I haven't seen this much water for years. Schools are out because of the flooded roads. I guess we have it best here because we don't have ice on the roads and ice rain ing f rom the clouds. There is power out in other places and the such. Let's pray for the safety of others. The rain is not over yet. There is supposed to be a couple more inches here.  We watched a Christmas movie last night on the GMC channel (Gospel Movie Channel). My husband had recorded it. We have several more that we haven't watched yet.
