THROUGH CHRIST

Good morning to you!

Grace and peace to you from God our
Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:2

I pray you slept well and woke up on the right side of the bed! I woke up with a start this morning. I had a dream that was really weird and I can't seem to forget it. I ate dinner at 8 or 8:30 last night and I know I shouldn't eat late. Usually we just have a snack after church on Sunday nights but I ate a meal of leftovers and it tasted good but eating roast beef that late isn't good for me. The doc said that I should eat red meat at all and I did. O my!

Do you remember your dreams? The only time I do is when I eat late or eat really spicy food for dinner. Then I do remember my dreams and usually they are not dreams I want to remember. Not that they are really bad just not so good or uplifting and kind of strange.

This morning while reading God's Word, this verse which is so well known and my daughter's favorite came to mind.

 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13

I guess I was thinking about forgetting the dream and knew that through Christ I could forget it. But I need to give Him a chance to make me forget it. "God is good all the time and all the time God is good." When we say this saying, it doesn't really say how awesome God really is. It just says how good He is. And that is true but He is much better than good. But anyway He can strengthen us through Christ. We need to remember that when we are feeling down and feel we can't do something. Oh, I can't do that! Oh, yes you can if it is His will. And He will help you all the way.

Sometimes we limit ourselves of what we can do because we might be afraid or weary or don't really want to do it. Do we put God in a box? He can do anything.

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With
men it is impossible, but not with God;
for with God all things are possible.”
Mark 10:27

Just saying we can't do something, is saying God can't do it. We are not trusting Him to be able to do it. So, let's take God out of the box and let Him do it. Let Him work in our lives. Let Him lead, guide, and direct us. Let Him fill us with His presence. And just let Him do it!

Have a blessed day!
