GOD LOVES US

Good morning this fine Saturday morning! I pray all is well with you. Having computer problems so bear with me. We went to my son and daughter-in-law's yesterday afternoon to see my oldest grandson's basketball game at 8 am this morning. How exciting! He plays on an Upward Basketball team for kindergarteners. How fun is that! It was so much see him play. "The Lord, your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with his love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17 This scripture really excited me even more! Wow. How God loves us! He is with us and never leaves us. He is mighty to save even when we don't deserve it. He takes great delight in us no matter how we act or what we do. God quiets us with His love even when we don't shut up and listen to Him. And He rejoices over us with singing even when we can't carry a tune in a bucket to sing to Him. We need to let Him be with us always and let Him save us. We certainly shouldn't be fighting it. He wants to save all of us but He will not force Himself upon us. It is our choice. Do we take delight in God like He does for us? Do we quiet God with our love? Do we love Him with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength? Do we rejoice over Him with our praise songs that we sing? I try. I really do. In my imperfection I do the best I can, the best I know how. And that is what God asks for. Zephaniah 3:17 would be an awesome scripture to memorize and repeat every day as part of our devotion time. It really is awesome. I pray your day is a blessed one because Jesus loves you. Les

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
