LOVE OF GOD



Hello!
God is great! Worship was great! Fellowship was great! Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!

I know that we don't go to church to fellowship. I mean, yes, we go to fellowship and worship with the One True God. But we also go to fellowship with all God's children. They are our church family. And for some people, like us, who don't have any blood family nearby, our church family is the next best thing. It is always great to connect when you only see each other a couple times a week.

The message at church today was about how much God loves us and that we should be His light and love in the world around us whether we touch someone in a second or two or minutes or hours. We are given that moment to make a difference for Christ. And I don't know about you but I want to make a difference.

The scripture was John 9:1-7. (Click on verse for link.) In just a short moment in time Jesus came upon the man blind from birth and made dirt and spit, put it on the blind man's eyes, told him to wash in the Pool of Siloam, and he was healed. 

In just a short moment in time we can make a difference in someone's life. Wow! How awesome that God can and will use us like that! I don't mean we can heal, but God can even use us that way as well. Sometimes it is just a smile or hug. And sometimes we can pray with someone and they will be healed by God using us. And He will always equip us for the moment at hand.

So, make a difference in someone's life by showing the love of Jesus.

I took this picture yesterday. It was amazing!   Good morning to you on  this blessed and chilly day! May God fill you with His love and His Spirit. He is awesome! He is miraculous! He is the great I AM! He is the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last! He is our Lord of lords and King of kings. He is my Savior! Is He yours? Jesus is coming back soon. Do you know Him? Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.
