PRAY SOME MORE

Good morning!

I just heard that the Air Force does not have to say "under God" in the pledge of allegiance. That to me is detestable! What is our country coming to? We are giving up and giving up some more and not standing up for what is right. I know people have free choice. But so people who don't want to say under God just don't say it yourself. Don't make it that way for everyone else. But then again maybe most of the men and women in the armed forces don't want to say under God. All I can say is that we need to pray. And pray heartily! And without ceasing!

2 Chronicles 7:14

if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Oh Lord. Please heal our land! We do not know what we are doing! Help us Lord!

We have just returned from our vacation last night. We had such a wonderful time. I praise God for the time away with my husband. Even though we were going all week, it is so good to have a reprieve from our daily routine and let down our hair, so to speak. Virginia is a beautiful state with so much history. Even though it rained most of the way there to Williamsburg, and part of the way back, it was a great and safe week. Praise God!

So, pray and pray some more. Things are changing for the worse right before our eyes.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Luke 6:27-28

But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

Jeremiah 29:12

Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

1 John 5:14

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

Have a wonderful day!
