THE GREATNESS OF GOD

It looks either awesome or scary.
Or could it be the hand of God!

I am going to repeat a blog that I ran in 2013. I thought it was good and it came to my attention again this morning. Since I just happened to find a copy on my computer files when I was looking for something else, I am sure that God wanted me to repost it:

Today is a day that the Lord has made and we should rejoice and be glad in it. And I will. I hope that you do also.

Great is the Lord, and
greatly to be praised...
Psalm 48:1a

...for the Lord your God, who is among
you, is a great and awesome God.
Deuteronomy 7:21

For the Lord your God is God of gods and
Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and
awesome, who shows no partiality
and accepts no bribes.
Deuteronomy 10:17

“How great you are, Sovereign Lord!
There is no one like you, and there is
no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears.”
2 Samuel 7:22

For great is the Lord and most 
worthy of praise; he is to be
feared above all gods.
1 Chronicles 16:25

But may all who seek you rejoice
and be glad in you; may those who
long for your saving help always
 say, “The Lord is great!”
Psalm 40:16

I could go on and on about how great the Lord is but His Word says it best. Read His Word. You can’t go wrong in learning about the things of God. Because..........

VICTORY

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
