RESIST

 

Good morning to you!
This is kind of a stormy day. I can hear the thunder this morning. I am trying to catch up today. Having been gone for a few days at Annual Conference and leaving again on the mission trip soon, my life is going to be crazy for the next few weeks. But I know that God is great and He will help me every step of the way. And I am going to pray that the stress level would be very low.

Several years ago at this time of the year going through the same trips, etc. I was extremely stressed and went through some anxiety attacks. Oh, it was awful. Since then I have prayed and prayed each year and God has really helped me and blessed me with no attacks. I know God is by me side and giving me peace. Oh, there is still a ton of things to do but I am not going to let the evil one get to me.

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist 
the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7

That is what I am going to do. If you are going through stuff that stresses you out, then you do it also. I have it on very high authority His Word, that God will help you too.

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. 
Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD 
your God will be with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:9

Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, "Of a truth 
I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:..."
Acts 10:34
If God will do it for me, then He will do it for you. Depend on Him!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
