GOD IS GOOD







 
Good morning. 
We are in the van on our way home. What a week!  A terrific week! I am in awe of the things God has done this week.

We had 150 attendees last night. The most on the last night in my 18 years. This week is just a bit of heaven. When God's children work together to advance the kingdom of God, great things do happen. We have proof. We lived it. We saw it. And we felt it. I cried when we left Great Spirit last night. On a mission trip the saying goodbye is by far the hardest. It is hard to leave the Choctaw people. And it is hard to say goodbye to our team today. We work together. We pray together. We sleep together. We eat together. And we worship our God together. And that is amazing. But some of our team we will never see again. Some will go again but some will not.

 Just like at Pentecost the disciples ate together and worshipped together and they were in one accord. As humans though I suppose that we aren't always in one accord. When you are hot and tired and maybe a little stressed,  sometimes that one accord thing gets a little out of hand.

 But all I know is that we had many, many trials this week, more than ever before, but God was in control and supplied all of our needs and answered our prayers just as He says He will. And He will do that for you also. Just trust Him!

 So I will say goodbye for today and will try to post some pictures. If I can't do it on my phone, then I will do it when I get home tonight. Thanks for being here with us all week through this blog. As hard as it was to get it done this week I loved doing it.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
