JUST ASK

This is where I long to be!

Good morning!
Oh Lord, bless this day! Use me for Your glory and honor. In me, Jesus, live this day! Help me to deny myself, take up my cross today, and follow You, Jesus! May I always worship You in Spirit and truth. Amen.

As we prepare for our mission trip coming soon, I know that God is with me. As I try to remember everything I need to do and to prepare for the trip and for our team, I know that God is helping me every step of the way. I could not do a bit of it without His love, grace, mercy and guidance.

I do the best I can but with God's help and direction, I can do much better than I could ever do on my own. Thanks be to God!

And the best part of it is God is with you also. He will guide and direct you also. You just need to ask. If we just go and do things on our own without even confiding in Jesus, we are just that, on our own. So talking to Him about what we should do and what we are doing is so important. It is putting Him first which is where He should be.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and 
his righteousness; and all these 
things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you 
will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
"For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks 
finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.…
Matthew 7:7-8

So, seek and ask and knock because Jesus is there waiting on you!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.
