D.O.G.-DEPEND ON GOD!

Our dog! Her eyes don't really look like that!

Good morning!

I can't believe that I have missed my postings so much lately. Can I blame it on the busy Christmas or the fact that my husband has worked at the workplace only one full day since Thanksgiving and has been home almost everyday except to drive to his workplace to pay the guys? Or the fact that we started the renovation after Thanksgiving and I am still finding much to put away?

I don't really know what the deal is. I just know that my mind hasn't worked right lately. And I haven't felt the best but I chalked that up to exhaustion. I also know that I went to the dr. yesterday and my blood pressure is very high. I haven't taken my meds for a while because the dr. gave me a new one and it costs a fortune so I quit taking it when I ran out of samples.

When things like these are happening we need to look to the Lord. We can be fearful, nervous, or worry but that will do no good for us. But God always does good for us.

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink;
or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and
the body more important than clothes?
Matthew 6:25

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow,
for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34

say to those with fearful hearts,
"Be strong, do not fear; your God will
come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you."
Isaiah 35:4

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in thename of the LORD OUR GOD.
Psalm 20:7

will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and
my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
Psalm 91:2

The LORD is good, a refuge in times
of trouble. He cares for those who
trust in him,
Nahum 1:7

These verses tell us what to do. Our God is with us. He is our Rock, and shelter in times of trouble. Let's depend on Him.

Have a tremendous day!

Love,
