GIVE TO HIM

Good morning!

As I said yesterday, I am having trouble with this blog. The formatting for it has just gone bonkers and I can't fix it. I like things to be in order and look nice. So, I guess we will just have to live with it the way it is until the website fixes it. So, please bear with me.

We still have snow at our house and our BBQ cover that blew off in the storm is still glued to the deck with ice and snow. My husband got it for Christmas and if we pull it up then it will tear, so I guess it will stay there until the snow and ice melt. Maybe today.

May God bless you with his special favor and wonderful peace as you come to know Jesus, our God and Lord, better and better. 2 Peter 1:2  How many of us don't want God's special favor and wonderful peace? I know that I sure do. And I want to know Him so much better. I just wanted to share with you today some scriptures on God's blessings. Do we truly realize where our blessings come from? Or do we even realize that everything good in our lives are blessings from God? His help, strength, and the holding up of us are blessings from Him.   So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.Isaiah 41:10 Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38  We also cannot out give God. "Give and it will be given to you."  If we give Him time he will multiply our time. If we give Him love, as we should, He will multiply our love. If we give and help others, He will give and help us. All our giving is not money. It should be much more than money. Of course, we need to give to God financially. He calls us to. But our giving is much more than that, as I said. We need to give sacrificially from our hearts, from ourselves and in many ways. And I am sure there are ways that we haven't even thought of.  So, let's give all we've got because we love God, and see just what He will give to us in return. I know He will give us His unconditional love. He did that by giving His Son to die on a cross for our sins. Our sins, not His. He had none. And that should be enough for us!  Have a spectacular day!  Love,          Les
