EAT RIGHT FOR YOUR HEALTH



Good morning to you!


I have been looking at a website that I found. It actually is a blog from a lady in Copenhagen. She is a holistic nutritionist, among other things. I found it in the Yahoo home page.

Anyway, I love natural and healthy things to eat and of course they are better for your body. This could be in the Bible foods recipe book because it is healthy enough. Now you have to like nuts and seeds and other natural things in your bread. This one takes the cake on that but I haven't tried it yet. I am getting ready to leave on a trip. So, I will try it when I get back.

God wants us to be healthy. And He wants us to take care of our bodies. He made them and if we want to live a long and prosperous life we need to take care of ourselves. With God's help, of course!

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple. 
1 Corinthians 3:16-17

I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.  
Romans 12:1-2

So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever 
you do, do all to the glory of God. 
1 Corinthians 10:31

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 
Now I could get into others things besides what food we should eat for the body but I won't at this time. But as the new year moves forward, let's take care of our bodies. If we need to eat right, eat right. If we need to exercise more, let's do it. 

And most importantly, if we need to spend more time with the Lord, let's do that also because that has to do with our spiritual bodies also. We need to feed our spirit so we can be in tune with the Spirit of the Most High God.
