HAVE TO DO

Our yard several years ago, probably
Christmas 2010. I love the snow.

Good morning on this
blessed Saturday!

How are you doing today? Did you have a great yesterday? I did. It was a bright and sunny day, very cold but very bright. I think the high yesterday was only 29*. And it was windy. Now it is much, much colder in other places and I can't imagine what that is like. On Monday it is supposed to get colder here with the high of 18* with a low of 1*. Oh my, I can't wait! I like the cold but when it is that cold I just want to stay inside. I guess there is nothing wrong with that.

But how much do you get done when you don't go anywhere. Most of the stuff I need to do is at home. I am just trying to get organized. I haven't caught up since Christmas. In sleep and in stuff that I need to do. Well, maybe some of my "need to do's" are things I don't really have to do. But to me I have to do it.

In our lives there are things that we do need to do, like give our lives to Jesus. If we want to spend eternity in heaven we need to give our lives to Him. If want to succeed in business or at a job we have to do the job. If we want a clean house to live in we have to clean it. If we want to raise successful kids, we have to teach them respect and work ethic and all the things to help them in life. Teaching them all about Jesus is number one. So, we have responsibilities in life to God, our families, and everyone around us. And if we put God first, everything else will fall into place.

Putting God first is the key.

But seek first the kingdom of God and his right-
eousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Matthew 6:3

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth,
where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break
in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves
do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is,
there your heart will be also.
Matthew 6:19-21

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who
live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in
the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved
me and gave himself for me.
Galatians 2:20

Commit your work to the Lord, and
your plans will be established.
Proverbs 16:3

He must increase, but I must decrease.”
John 3:30

So, see how these scriptures talk to us. Are we going to follow?

Thanks for reading.

Have a miraculous day!

Love,
      Les
