GOD IS GOOD

Good morning on this great Monday!

Did you have a good weekend? I know some people had some bad storms this weekend. We had a great weekend. God is good all the time. We all know that, right?

I will exalt you, my God the King;

Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;

    his greatness no one can fathom.
Psalm 145:1-3

You are so good oh God! I praise Your holy name. Your love endures forever and ever. You are faithful, Lord. You are my all in all. You are so great and greatly to be praised. Everyday I will praise You. For You are most worthy to be praised. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

I sure hope you are praising the Lord everyday, no matter what your circumstances are. I try my very best to do just that. And laugh until you cry sometimes. It is good for the body like a medicine.
We were in Gatlinburg, TN (a local touristy town) this weekend with friends and one friend called her aunt to tell her happy birthday and said she was going to sing to her and asked us to join her. Now mind you we are on the sidewalk of the main thoroughfare. Tourists all around us. She started singing a song she was making up to the tune of Old Smokey. Well, supposed to be the tune. Oh my gosh! She was singing at the top of her lungs. My other two friends hurried away and I just sat there next to her with my mouth dropped open and we were laughing at her hilariously, so hard we were crying. And everyone walking by was staring, laughing and thinking we were drunk. I was so stunned I couldn't move away. Our key verse for this scene is: 
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
Psalm 100:1 
I have not laughed that hard in a very long time. And embarrassed. Oh my goodness! Her back was sort of to the street and I was next to her sitting on a block wall in front of the convention center. I am not sure but since my mouth was dropped open people might have thought it was me. I sure hope not. What an experience! I wish I had videoed it but I was too stunned to move.
I hope that you have moments to laugh hard and praise the Lord often. He is worthy to be praised!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
