OBEDIENCE
Good morning this Sabbath Day!
I am watching Dr. Charles Stanley's show or church service that is on every Sunday morning and I believe other times also. It is always so good. He is a great teacher and preacher and tells it like it is. If you watch and feel like he is telling you God's Word and putting you down with it, so you don't watch it anymore, well, maybe you are being convicted. We need to be convicted. We need to know we aren't following God the way we are supposed to. But God is certainly not condemning us. He will never do that, ever. He keeps His Word always. And He keeps His promises!
I just want you to know that if you are not in church or are in church, watch Charles Stanley's show- In Touch. Get God's Word that way besides in church and in His Word. He wants us to know Him better, to love Him more, to be more obedient to Him. And how do you know how to be obedient? Reading His Word and following it, talking to Him and listening to Him, going to church are the very best ways there is. There is also worshiping Him, praising Him and thanking Him. How awesome is that? I want to do it all.
I can do all things through
Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13
So, we can do this all if we want to be obedient to Him. And we should always do it. "It is wise to be obedient to God," says Charles Stanley. "Obeying God is always the right thing to do, but it’s not always the
easiest. We need courage—a special quality of mind and spirit that
enables us to meet danger, opposition and the challenges of life with
steadfast fearlessness. In this message, Dr. Stanley explains that it
always benefits us to obey the principles of the Word of God." And I want to be wise and obedient. Don't you?
Have a fabulous day!
