SEEK GOD


Good morning to you!

In our understanding of God's Word, the hollow of God's hand would probably be the palm of His hand or just His divine hand.

In his hand is the life of every creature 
and the breath of all mankind. 
Job 12:10

I can never forget you! I have written 
your name on the palms of my hands.  
Isaiah 49:16 

So, you are in the palm of God's hand and He will never forget or forsake you. But He wants something from you. He created us to love and fellowship with Him. We are not just supposed to get from Him. That is not our focus. Jesus is our focus. We are to give to Him our love and our relationship. It is not about us and what He can do for us but what we can do for Him. He is not in our hearts just to answer our prayers. He is there to be our Lord and Savior. He is to be our First Love.

Are you doing something for Him? Are you doing everything for Him? Is Jesus your First Love? Is He your Lord and Savior!

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, 
and his righteousness; and all these  
things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or  
whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31   

Well, we need to seek Him first and do everything for the glory of God.  If you are going through a trial and things aren't going the way you think they should or prayers are not being answered in your time, remember this, God is probably waiting for you to fellowship with Him. To seek Him with all your heart and do all for His glory.

He can answer your prayers whether you are seeking Him or not but He seeks you to have a full relationship with Him. As I said, that is what you were created for. 

So, seek Him first, repent, and live for Jesus so that everything you do brings Him glory. And in that He will answer your prayers. Just remember that the answer my be yes, no, or maybe, or wait. His timing is perfect.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
