Good morning!
Forgive me for not posting in the last few days. I spent a day in three airports on Wednesday with no internet. I wasn't going to pay for it. And most of that day also in a wheelchair at least while at the airports. 

When I got into LAX I was almost to security when I needed to organize my belongs. I don't know where I fell over my luggage (carry-ons) or they fell over me. Needless to say I twisted my left ankle. That is the foot that is painful all the time anyway with a ganglion cyst and plantar fasciitus. I was never so embarrassed in my life. But if I had not been in a wheelchair I am not sure that I would have made my connection in Dallas-Fort Worth. That is the biggest airport ever. The terminals are so far apart. And even with the train in between terminals the walk was a very long way to the train. And with me hobbling I would never have gotten there. So, I do praise God for the wheelchair ride even though I hated it. I felt like everyone was looking at me. It also made me feel old. Well, I guess I am. Getting older stinks. Sorry if I offend anyone!

I have always been very independent. But this really brought me down. I guess I am more prideful than I thought. Lord, forgive me!

Then yesterday, Thursday I worked the election. Had to get up at 5:30 am and got home at 9 pm. I was never so tired in my life. But God worked it all out and I praise His holy name. I did sleep late this morning which I am very thankful to God for.

So, when you think all is lost or it is just beyond your control, remember that God is in control and He will work it all out.

Proverbs 19:21

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
