SEEKING
The beach is such a peaceful place
for me. We'll do it next year!
Good morning to you!
Are you down in the dumps? I kind of have been lately and I don't know why. I do know that I am staying at home too much. I am not doing anything at all with friends except my best friend, my husband. But he is really not a goer. He works almost an hour from home 5-6 days a week and is so exhausted when he gets home from work that he doesn't feel like doing anything. And of course I don't blame him.
I need to get out more on my own. I need to work more. I need to try harder. And most importantly I need to seek God more. I thought I was but I guess not enough.
"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:33-34
These are the words of Jesus. And that is what He is telling us to do. Seek Him and His kingdom and His righteousness and don't worry and everything else that He wants will fall into place in our lives. Did you catch that? What He wants. His will be done in our lives. He doesn't want us to be down, or confused or depressed. He wants us to have life and have it abundantly. And we must let Christ live in us!
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20
So, that is what we need to remember and live by, especially me! And our lives will be more abundant and full and more peaceful.
Have a terrific day!
