Good morning to you!
It actually isn't morning anymore but it took me awhile to get going. I was awake at 4:30 am and read for a while but couldn't go back to sleep. Finally at 5:30 I got up and emptied my suitcase and such and then was going upstairs but my husband was asleep on the couch so I laid on the loveseat in our bedroom. So, then I read some more and went back to sleep and didn't wake up unto almost 8:30. I never sleep that late. I know I am really tired after my trip.

I am so thankful to God for safe travel. Only He can protect us and lead us to safety. I know that sometimes God allows things to happen and we probably will never know why. But read the book of Job if you want to read about how God allows terrible things to happen to good people. God doesn't cause them to happen but He allows them to happen. 

But regardless we should praise God and trust Him in all situations. He will never leave us nor forsake us. I certainly praise Him for that!

Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
