ADOPTED


Oh, good morning on the most glorious of days!

 The God of peace be with you all. Amen.
Romans 15:13

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! And amen! Have an awesome and wonderful day today! 

Did you know that you are adopted? Now don't think that your parents adopted you and you didn't know it. Although, if you were, you were chosen to be their child. What a blessing! My husband's step-mom adopted him as her own. And even though they are not by blood they were by their hearts. She could have just stayed a step-mom only but chose to adopt him. So, read this verse. 

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God's Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, "Abba, Father." For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God's children.
Romans 8:14-16

We are not just a child of God chosen by Him, we were adopted by Him.

For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—
Ephesians 1:4-5 

 How could anyone love us any more than God? They can't. Only He can love us that much.

 So, it doesn't matter what we do, He loves us that much. If we don't believe, He loves us. If we sin against Him, He loves us. If we believe but don't follow Him, He loves us. It doesn't matter. He was willing to adopt us into His family because Jesus died on the cross for our sins and lives today!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
