NOT A FEELING BUT GRACE

God's creation from one of our trips

Good morning to you, my friends!

You are truly blessed by God. And so am I. We sometimes want to feel Jesus in us. When we ask Jesus into our heart we want to feel. Well, salvation is not a feeling, it is a fact. God's Word says this:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
Son, that whoever believes in him should
not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16

Because, if you confess with your mouth that
Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God
raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:9

But to all who did receive him, who believed
in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,
John 1:12

So if you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, you are saved. That is all you have to do to be saved. It is a free gift and a promise from God, not something you feel. Now sometimes we feel His presence by the power of the Holy Spirit. And I would like to feel His presence all the time but I haven't arrived there yet. In heaven I will. We will.

And if you are not saved and you don't think that you are good enough to get saved, you don't have to be. God wants us to come as we are and He will meet us there.

he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done,
but because of his mercy. He saved us through the
washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,
Titus 3:5

Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he
will flee from you. Draw near to God and He
will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners;
and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
James 4:8

And my God will meet all your needs according
to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19

So give yourselves to God, resist the devil, and He will meet our needs wherever we are in our spiritual life which should be our whole life. God will cleanse and renew us, we don't have to do it. And remember how much He loves you just the way you are. And as time goes on we grow in Christ, day by day, and become more like Him.

Have a terrific day!
