DROUGHT

Good morning to you!

Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.

Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.

Look to the LORD and his
strength; seek his face always.
1 Chronicles 16:11

The LORD is my strength and
my song; he has become my salvation.
He is my God, and I will praise him,
my father's God, and I will exalt him.
Exodus 15:2

So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your
God. I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10

Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God, the
Creator of the ends of the earth. He will
not grow tired or weary, and his
understanding no one can fathom.  He gives
strength to the weary and increases the power
of the weak.  Even youths grow tired and weary,
 and young men stumble and fall;  but those who
hope in the LORD will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will
run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:28-31

The LORD gives strength to his people;
the LORD blesses his people with peace.
Psalm 29:11

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives. Do
not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
John 14:27

Let God fill your heart with Himself. He loves you and wants to take care of you. He wants to fill you with His love and His peace. Keep your focus on Him and not your circumstances. There was a saying years ago that said: Keep your eyes on Jesus and everything else will fall into place.

"If Jesus isn’t at the center of your life, everything else seems out of balance," says Michelle.
Michelle Medlock Adams, award-winning journalist and best-selling author

So, do just that. Make Jesus the center of your life. You will be glad you did. And your spiritual drought will end.

Have a marvelous day!
