HELP US, LORD

This is where I want to be always, and 
on the beach would be good also!

O Lord God how amazing You are? You 
made us. You made this day. May we be 
pleasing in Your sight. Help us to deny 
ourselves, take up our cross this day, 
and follow You, O Lord! Help us to 
live in Your presence. Help us to 
worship You so that Your presence 
surrounds us. May we not sin against 
You. May we live in accordance with 
Your will. May we seek You always! 
In Jesus Name, Amen and Amen!

Do you pray every morning first thing? Do you even think of God first thing in the morning? I try to praise and worship the Lord every night when I turn the light out, and God puts me to sleep with Him on my mind. And then when I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is say good morning to the Lord. I know I don't do these things perfectly, I am sure very imperfectly. I know I displease God in so many ways, but I try my best. And for me that is the best I can do, and all with His help. And:

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13
 
God knows that we are not going to do everything just right. We like to think that we do everything just right but we don't. I don't ever want to be arrogant or prideful enough to think that I do. But God is with us always, and won't leave us because we do something that doesn't please Him. He loves us no matter what. But I want to get better and better at what I do every day. I want to be a better person today than I was yesterday. And I want my life to be all about Jesus. Isn't that your wish or dream also? I hope that it is.

You will seek me and find me when 
you seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:13
 
But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use
 it for finishing the work assigned me by the 
Lord Jesus--the work of telling others the Good 
News about the wonderful grace of God.
Acts 20:24

After I seek God with all my heart, and finish the work that God has given me, not only to live the gospel but to share it, because with God's help and strength I can, then I want to be able to say this:

I have fought the good fight, I have 
finished the race, I have kept the faith.
2 Timothy 4:7

And I hope and pray that you feel the same way. You can do it!

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid.   Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
