BELIEVE GOD

 

Good morning!
Our VBS started last night. We had a great night. 29 people came and we hope to go up from here not counting all of our teachers and leaders and helpers. Sunday night is family day and people with their own church a lot of times go there. So, we are praising God and know that He has great things in store for the other nights!

So another busy day getting ready for that and all the other things I have to do. Especially since I am leaving to go out of town the day after VBS is over. 

So, trust God that He is Who He says He is!
Trust God that He can do what He says He can do!
Trust God that we are who He says we are!
Trust God that we can do all things through Christ!
And trust God that His Word is alive and active in our lives!

I choose to believe God!! How about you?

You are righteous, Lord,
    and your laws are right.
138 The statutes you have laid down are righteous;
    they are fully trustworthy.
139 My zeal wears me out,
    for my enemies ignore your words.
140 Your promises have been thoroughly tested,
    and your servant loves them.
141 Though I am lowly and despised,
    I do not forget your precepts.
142 Your righteousness is everlasting
    and your law is true.
143 Trouble and distress have come upon me,
    but your commands give me delight.
144 Your statutes are always righteous;
    give me understanding that I may live.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. 
Genesis 1:27

 
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. 
1 John 3:1-2

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”  
Acts 16:31

 So, all these attributes to trust God are scriptural. And I believe it! Right down to the dotted I's and crossed T's.

VICTORY

Saturday Good morning to you! The beach is waiting. I can't wait to get away. To rest. To regenerate. To be revived. And sometimes we just need to get away from our daily routine in order to do that. Get away from the phone and stuff like that. Unfortunately, with cell phones, these days we don't get away from the calls. It never fails that we go on vacation and always someone calls about my husband's work, either a person that works for him or someone wanting to get work done. But in all reality that is good. It means that the business is not dead. Praise the Lord for that! The beach does so much for me. I have the best time and the most relaxing time at the beach. I guess it is in my blood. I was born at the beach (a town at the beach). I lived near the beach for about 15 of my growing up years. My grandparents built a house in Malibu, CA overlooking the ocean when I was a kid. DROUGHT

  Good morning to you! Has it been raining where you are? It rained pretty good last night here. We need it. Actually we will take it all just so we aren't in the drought category. I saw on the weather yesterday that a lot of the country is in a severe drought.  Are you in a severe drought spiritually? I hope not but if you are, here are some scriptures that might help.
