LIKE CHRIST

Good morning to you!

This is a blessed Monday! We had a wonderful weekend with our son and family. It is always such an honor and blessing to see them. Our grandsons are growing up so fast and are so very special. I praise God for all of them. Including our daughter and son-in-law whom we don't get to see very often. We miss them so much.

We had a wonderful Sunday of worship. You don't know what you are missing out on if you don't go to church. We don't go there to do anything but worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ but He blesses us with our church family and all that goes with it. And these people are a gift from God. And I praise His Holy Name!

And if your church family doesn't welcome you with open arms and show the love of Jesus to you by loving you just the way you are, then shame on them. For one thing God is our judge not people, especially His people.

When someone new comes to our churches, we must be the loving picture of Christ that He calls us to be. We are to be Christ-like. We are to imitate Christ.

1 John 2:6
Whoever says he abides in him ought to
walk in the same way in which he walked.

1 Corinthians 11:1

Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.

1 Peter 2:21

For to this you have been called, because
Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an
example, so that you might follow in his steps.

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.
And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself
up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

So, let's be the person God called us to be in our whole life, including in church. I have heard it said that the church can be filled with the meanest people. Let's not be those kind of people at all. Let's be like Christ.

Have a beautiful day!
