PRAISE GOD

Good morning!
I told you yesterday that my heart was singing. This morning I was thinking about what God has been doing especially during the mission trip. One of those things is my foot and pre-diabetes issues. It was so awesome what He did!
What is going on for almost the past year with my foot is plantar fasciitis. The pain I have had with every left foot step has been a lot. The doctor said that it could take a year to heal. Someone else told me that their doctor said it will never heal. Well, God has healed me. I bought a pair of expensive shoes and a special sleeve to wear. I did the exercises the doctor told me to do. I tried to follow the doctors order's. For about a week or two before I left it quit hurting. I was ecstatic about it. But I knew that while on the trip that with all the walking we do and being on my feet a lot that it would really hurt. It never hurt for one second while we were gone. Praise God! I am so thankful to God for that.
The other issue is the pre-diabetes one. I have been having trouble with highs and lows in the sugar dept. but I didn't even have a clue about that. No one in my family has ever had that problem that I know of. For me this has been going on for a couple of years but I didn't know what it was. I get a blood test every 6 months but the doctor just let it go because it wasn't too bad. But the nauseousness kept on and was getting worse. Anyway, I started the Atkins lifestyle of eating with high protein-low carbs and it has helped tremendously. So, I don't eat bread, pasta, desserts or anything much with carbs in it. And I have been doing pretty good with an episode every once in a while. I knew though that while on the mission trip that most of the food that we ate would be carbs. And it was. But in order to eat I couldn't not eat. So, I did but tried to be careful. Anyway, I never had but one episode of ill feeling while gone and it didn't get full blown at all like it has many times before. So, I give God all the glory, honor and praise for that also.
Let's not forget the big and the little things that God does for us. They really mean a lot, every one of them. We must praise God for all things. He tells us to!
1 Chronicles 29:13 Now therefore, our God, we thank you, and praise your glorious name.
Psalms 35:18 I will give you thanks in the great congregation: I will praise you among much people.
Psalms 35:28 And my tongue shall speak of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long.
Psalms 43:4 Then will I go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy: yes, on the harp will I praise you, O God my God.
Psalms 92:1 IT IS A GOOD THING TO GIVE THANKS UNTO THE LORD, AND TO SING PRAISES UNTO THY NAME, O MOST HIGH:
Psalms 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful to him, and bless his name.
Psalms 101:1 I will sing of mercy and judgment: to you, O LORD, will I sing.
Psalms 138:1 I will praise you with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise to you.
These are only a few of the many scriptures about what we should do all the time. And I praise God for them.
Have a terrific day!
